Default Is it possible to dye stormbow?

I've seen quite a number of different coloured chaos axe but I've never seen any other colour of stormbow other than the default one.

So...has anyone tried to dye their stormbow or is it 'un-dyeable'?

I've done it. Blue. I didn't notice any thing though, and I'm afraid to use dye remover on it. I don't want a white rice colored storm bow.

Has anyone tried to dye it with black? A black coloured Stormbow would look really really cool...

Storm bows? If you dont know, chances are you cant afford one. A plain max damage one cost me 90k.

I was under the impression that only the grip of the bow took color when you dyed it....which would make it nearly impossible to tell once it's been dyed...seeing as you hold the bow by the grip.

I knew it. I'm glad I showed up to read this. I have a storm bow, I dyed it many differnt colors. Fact is, it does dye. But not far from its original color. Every differnt color you try adds a differnt but incredibley light and hard to see, shade of brown or grey.

Never tried black because I perserve my precious blacks.

you get them in the underworld. the max dmg is the same for all bows. dont have one myself, but i hear they have the 2nd best critical hit for a weapon and good range.

I saw someone in the trade channel in LA selling max dmg bows. I had never seen one before and had no idea how much they went for. He evidently didn't either, because he sold it to me for all I had on me...which was about 9k.

This was 2 months ago, so the price was around par then. It does irk me that the economy has made them so much cheaper, but then most farm spots have been nerfed as well, so 9k may be a better price.

The rare eternal and storm bows with good mods still cost somewhere in the area of 100k but only if they are max. I bought a 14-27 almost max eternal bow for only 1k in Lions Arch yesterday.
